HOUSEKEEPER/CLEANER

Buddy Dive Resort is one of the largest diving resorts in Bonaire – Caribbean Netherlands. The resort has 78 apartments with a total of 220 beds, its own diving school, two restaurants, two swimming pools, and its own car rental company.

What are you going to do?

As a cleaner, you are responsible for cleaning and organizing the spaces. You ensure that the rooms are ready for use. In addition, you carry out cleaning work in public areas, such as bathrooms and kitchens, according to a pre-established schedule and specific instructions.

Who are we looking for?

As a cleaner, it is essential that you can work accurately and efficiently. You are a hard worker and have good time management skills. You have basic knowledge of maintenance and cleaning techniques. You can work independently and respond to the wishes and needs of guests and the team.

Restaurant Employee

In addition to being one of the best dive resorts, our beautiful dive resort offers the possibility of enjoying delicious food & beverages. Both resort restaurants are located on the waterfront and provide a meeting place for our hotel guests, our dive guests, and island residents. Both restaurants offer something for everyone.

Our Blennies Pool Bar offers an informal atmosphere, with service ranging from breakfast to lunch and dinner. For beautiful sunsets and evenings of delicious dining, including matching wines, guests can visit our fine-dining restaurant Ingridiënts.

Job Requirements:

What are you going to do?

• Together with the rest of our enthusiastic F&B team, you are responsible for the daily operation of the restaurant;
• In this full-time position, you prepare for the opening of the restaurant, advise and serve the guests, ensure payment control, and help clean up the restaurant after closing time;
• As a restaurant employee, you are attentive, customer-friendly, and proactive;
• In addition, you have a flexible working attitude and you can communicate well with guests, colleagues, and your manager;

What we ask:

• Have at least one year of relevant experience;
• Insight into (legal) regulations in the field of safety;
• A team player;
• Command of the English and Dutch language;
• Spanish and Papiamento are a plus;

Four the Dive school we are looking for a new

Dive Instructor

for 40 hours a week.

Buddy Dive Resort is looking for a fulltime PADI certified Dive Instructor. As instructor you’ll give specific dive certification courses, theoretical & practical, on different levels. You will teach the people scuba diving techniques who wants to learn to dive

Job Description:

• Providing diving lessons to guests (theory and practice) on various levels according to the PADI diving regulations and security.
• Coordinating and accompanying guests to boat trips for diving excursions and night dives.
• Assisting with the daily control of dive operations.
• Assisting with the dive school, dive shop, boat and equipment maintenance.
• Filling of the dive tanks at our central dive station.Profile

Profile:

• PADI Open Water Instructor with competence and relevant work experience.
• Be able to provide diving lessons in English and Spanish and preferably in another language such as German, French or Portuguese.
• Must be able to work independently, take initiative, be a decision maker and yet work in a team environment.
• Have good communication and social skills as well as a positive work attitude.
• Be able to work flexible hours.

FRONT OFFICE AGENT

Our Front Office is always ready to assist our guests, from arrival through the rest of their stay, to ensure a pleasant experience. As a Front Office Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our resort guests. The role is varied, active, and no two days are the same. Your responsibilities include checking guests in and out, providing excellent service, processing payments, and handling various administrative tasks.

Job Requirements:

What are you going to do?

• Act as the resort’s representative;
• Welcome and check in guests based on reservation lists;
• Prepare and deliver keys, welcome packages, etc.;
• Provide general and tourist information to guests;
• Deliver excellent service and handle complaints;
• Check out departing guests;
• Settle invoices, etc.;
• Issue rental cars;
• Work closely with the Housekeeping and Car Rental departments.

Profile:

• You are flexible and guest-oriented;
• You are motivated and eager to learn;
• You have excellent communication skills;
• You are available both in the morning and evening;
• You are available on weekends and holidays.
